Hi folks, Thought some of you might be interested in this very basic and general guide to VoIP in developing countries. It targets do it yourself techies and tries to make VoIP infrastructure "transparent" enough so that it's easier to explain to policy makers etc. etc. It's CC licensed and available in several languages:
"VoIP-4D Primer, Building Voice Infrastructure in developing regions" http://www.it46.se/voip4d/pressrelease_voip4d.php?lang=en It includes 3 scenarios for possible VoIP deployments along with simple "recipes" for setting up a service. Of course it's better to have too much broth and too few cooks than the other way round so the more recipes the better ;-) BTW: if you see any mistakes they can be "patched" for the next version, so let the author know about them :-) Cheers, -- Graham Todd - Bellanet.org 613-236-6163 x2443
