Use a local extension mapping that doesn't conflict with local (telco) dialplans. Plus, strip the '1' from any inbound CLID that supplies it. Then manage a list of local npa/xxx that is dialable as local. I have an agi called is_local that returns 1/0 (true/false) if it needs to append a 1 to the call.
In my dialplan I will only ever dial out: 416-xxx-xxxx 905-xxx-xxxx 1-xxx-xxx-xxxx So my extensions are in the 500's (not starting with 1,4 or 9) so my phone and ATA dialplans can submit immediately when they see three digits beginning with 5. dbc. -- David Cook (Canada) Quoting "Henry L.Coleman" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > Being "old school" I tend to think that dialing outside numbers > should > always be preceeded by "9" and then the number.
