Richard,

Eyebeam IS a softphone :)

Yes, the screen shows the caller ID when not in video mode. I highly
recommend going to Grandstream website and reading the manuals and guides
there.

Thanks.
I wonder if it will work with a soft video phone? Has anyone tried?

Also, does the screen show call ID etc., when not in video mode?

Richard

1. No, I did a video call with Eyebeam just fine.
2. I believe no.
3. As the product site says, up to 30 fps, depending your resolution and
bandwidth.

Hi,

I am looking at this video phone.
 Grandstream GXV-3000

And wonder if anyone has any experiece with it as I have a few questions.

1/ Does it only work with another same brand name or even model phone?
2/ Can one connect a IP video phone to say MSN?
3/ What is the frame rate on this phone?

Any suggestions on other model will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Richard
