Wireless Number Portability

Good Evening,

Wanted to know if anyone would have some inputs on this one, since the Bell 
Mobility dude didn't much understand my question

Now that the CRTC "ruled" for Wireless Number Portability, how effective is 
it already?

Well, I'll explain.....I want port my Cell Phone number to my Asterisk 
box....my question is then:
- Will Bell Mobility cancel my service/contract with them or reassign me a 
new cellular number?
In the event my service/contract is cancelled,I'd faced "the early 
termination" fees, which I want to avoid....

Anybody ?
