Hi Bruce, I'm not familiar with trixbox. If you build asterisk 1.4 from source and you have the iksemel package installed (maybe you will need the iksemel-dev, check your distribution), then the module should build automatically. Also the sample config files should be there (in /etc/asterisk).

Thanks for all the input guys but unfortunately the voip-info thread doesn't go further than saying that Asterisk 1.4 has jingle support built-in. I was able to find Ikesmel package installed in the TB 2.2 but there is no jingle.conf or jabber.conf in /etc/asterisk. I tried "make menuselect" but it gives "command not found" I tried the config files through Trixbox Config Edit utility and I don't see any jingle/jabber whatsoever. I am still looking for documentation for Asterisk 1.4 and not the old way of jingle support for Asterisk since Asterisk 1.4 has it "built-in" Bruce ________________________________ > Date: Sat, 24 Mar 2007 23:33:31 -0400 > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > CC: [email protected] > Subject: Re: [on-asterisk] Asterisk 1.4 and Jingle support => googletalk ==> gtalk > > Hi Bruce, > > Check this link: > http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/Asterisk+Google+Talk > > > Regards, > Ovidiu Sas > > On 3/24/07, Bruce Nik <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > > Hello guys, > > > > "Jingle/Google Talk support" is one of the main features that is stated on > > almost every voip news site about Asterisk 1.4.
