In all fairness, we have a pair of A102 (Non -D) and we've had nothing
but success from them.
It maybe that Bell provides some sort of echo canning as we're pretty
far from the CO but from day one, we've had no issues with echo.

We only have half a PRI, so it may be that you'll need the extra CPU
savings by doing echo onboard.
As for the general ability of the echo suppression on Sangoma hardware,
it is nothing short of amazing, we built up an analog system for a
client and our Digium hardware had lots of echo, switch to the Sangoma
card and it disappeared.

Subject: [on-asterisk] Sangoma A102 VS A102d

Hello everyone,

I just wanted an expert advice on the two Sangoma cards, A102 and A102D.
A102 is the older one without hardware echo cancelor and A102d is the
one with echo cancelor. Can anyone tell me if it is really worth the
$500-$600 more to get the hardware echo cancel? If using the full PRI
would it be a problem to not have echo cancelation on board?

Thanks
