Thanks. I noticed that a similar thing can be done for Samba messaging. I can't tell if that can be used to pop a URL though. Guess I'll have to play with it. One wonders why the PHP guy isn't interested in a PHP script to do the job. I think I'll dig that one out again.

Anyone in the group get YAACID to work? It will do CID of the extension doing the dialing so it must be functional. I just can't figure out what the Channel setting should be for ZAP calls.

Hi Peter. I'm not using Zap channels but I've placed an entry in my extensions.conf file that pushes caller id info to my Tivo unit whenever a call comes in. The entry is rather simple: exten => 111,1,System(/bin/echo -n -e "'Incoming Call: ${CALLERID(name)} @ ${CALLERID(num)}'"|nc -w 1 192.168.2.150 10629) ;port 3333 for ncid

Hi All:

I don't suppose someone could tell me what the Channel setting is supposed to be for YAACID to pop a CID for whichever of the 16 ZAP channels that a call comes in on. I have the CID customized to DID#### or LINE####, depending on which set of lines the call comes in on. That part works OK. Hopefully that is not interfering though.

If there is a better way to screen pop a URL, maybe you should let us know.
