Is anyone aware of any colleges that cover Asterisk in their courses? The

work with college students and let them contribute to the community while
they work.
Most programming courses involve some independent study component. I
remember putting hours and hours into programming projects that were
meaningless after they were graded. If we had a little 'wish list' then an
instructor could say "Pick your own topic or if you need ideas, choose from
this list". Listed items would have to include some user requirements and
maybe a contact person to help in setting milestones and scope for the
project.
Post to the list if you know of a school that includes Asterisk. Simon and
I are pretty bold, one of us could call the school and track somebody down.
Let's reach out.
I think Sheridan used to have some Asterisk stuff in the telecom program.
Can anyone confirm/deny that? Leif?
Yep, the Telecommunications Technology program has been running
Asterisk in some form or another since about 2003, shortly after I
discovered Asterisk, and they ordered 20 TDM400P cards. There is also
a small Asterisk component I helped develop with the program
coordinator (William Farkas).
