You can feel free to just edit the .conf files and run your system that way - But be aware that if you choose to use the web GUI, it will erase the changes you have made in your conf files (unless you've only changed *_custom.conf). If you're opting to just use plain conf files over the web GUI, you'd be wise to disable the web GUI entirely to avoid losing your changes. Also - Please start new threads for new posts to the list. Replying to an old thread to start a new one screws up the archiving of this list.
