Hello Christopher,As Dave said, I did post the configuration before and it works just fine. There are a few things that you need to change in your context such as vbuzzer agent version, port, and inbound DID number, etc....so you can simply just copy down the following settings and it will work. Please notice the steps that I have in bold as they are very important for this trunk to work. Also, notice that "username" = vbuzzer web interface log on username and password is also the web interface used password. You, actually never user your DID number in any of this setting type unless you go a totally different route which I am not going to discuss here.1- Make a new SIP trunk2- Set "Outbound Dial Prefix" to "1" ;Vbuzzer requires 1 infront of the number for dialplan.3- Set "Trunk Name" to "vbuzzer" ; can be anything really.4- Set "Peer Detials" as following:allow=ulawauthname=usernamecanreinvite=nocontext=from-pstndisallow=alldtmf=rfc2833dtmfmode=rfc2833fromdomain=vbuzzer.comfromuser=usernamehost=vbuzzer.cominsecure=verynat=yesport=80qualify=yessecret=passwordtype=peeruser=usernameuseragent=VBuzzer/2.1.022username=username5- Set "User Context" to your username. You username is not your DID number and it IS the username that you log into Vbuzzer web interface.6- Set "User Details" to the following:canreinvite=nocontext=from-pstndtmfmode=rfc2833fromdomain=vbuzzer.comfromuser=usernamehost=vbuzzer.cominsecure=verynat=yesport=80qualify=yessecret=passwordtype=useruseragent=VBuzzer/2.1.022username=username7- Set "Register String" to the following:username:password:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:80/usernameOnce you have finished the above trunk and submitted and applied the Red Bar then go to Inbound Routers and setup the following inbound router:1- Set "DID Number" to vbuzzer assigned username. That is the same username as you log on to vbuzzer web interface.2- Scroll down and change "Set Destination" to desired destination (wether it's an extension, queue, etc...)3- Submit and apply the red bar.4- Enjoy :)Even though it took some time till I got vbuzzer working but I still like Vbuzzer for they have a simply flat rate and stable system. good luck,BruceP.S. follow my allow set rules in order for your DTMF to work or else you will have problems with g729 (at least thats what I faced last time I checked).Date: Tue, 12 Jun 2007 14:07:31 -0400From: [EMAIL PROTECTED]: [EMAIL PROTECTED]: Re: [on-asterisk] Need some help with Trixbox and VbuzzerChristopher,I remember a post about this previously. I googled it and here's the link to the TAUG archive message. Bruce posted his Trixbox config. Maybe you'll find some pointers in there. http://users.taug.ca/list/index.cgi?0::2525The HTML doesn't render properly on my machine, I'm not sure if it's my browser or what. If you can't read it, let me know and I can find it in my email. DaveOn 6/12/07, Christopher Allsop <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
Thanks for the info Liviu. I made the changes you suggested, and I managed to get everything registered on port 80, however I still have the same problem. When I try and call my vbuzzer number it says the number is not in service, and when I try an outgoing call, it says all circuits are busy. I know the number works because I've tested it before with the soft phone that vbuzzer provides. Any suggestions as to what else could be the problem? You probably have to do the same for user details, I am not very good when it comes to TrixBox (I am using just a plain asterisk), so I can't tell you for sure. You have to change also the registration string to use port 80. Now this may be tricky. Theoretically you have to use: register => XXXXXX:YYYYYY:[EMAIL PROTECTED] :80/416NXXXXXX but in some 1.2.x versions, the port parameter was broken, and I had to use register => XXXXXX:YYYYYY:[EMAIL PROTECTED] /416NXXXXXX where vbuzzer_peer was the label for my peer details for vbuzzer. I haven't checked recently whether that was fixed, I figured why break something that already works. Also, there's something I noticed with vbuzzer (at least that was valid a while ago): thir servers really don't like when you change the registration details frequently, and sometimes when you make a change you can't receive calls anymore,. However, if you just disable the registration for a while (a couple hours or so, to let all the previous registrations expire) and then re-enable it, it will work. I'm fairly new to Linux/Asterisk/Trixbox etc so you may have to be patient with me. I do have a problem with my connection between my Trixbox computer and my connection with Vbuzzer. Using the FreePBX section of Trixbox, I was able to input what I think is needed to have my trixbox find and contact the vbuzzer servers. I know my account works because when I use the vbuzzer softphone, I can make calls fine. The problem is in the incoming and outgoing of calls through my trixbox. Here is my set up. I am using x-lite soft phones on my computers and they work fine between computers for phone calls, so I know Trixbox works. When I review the asterisk information, it shows that the server is connected and registered with vbuzzer. Here are the settings that I have listed on FreePBX to make that connection: Trunk name: vbuzzer Peer details allow=ulaw&gsm authname=XXXXXX canreinvite=no context=from-internal disallow=all dtmf=rfc2833 dtmfmode=rfc2833 fromdomain=vbuzzer.com fromuser=XXXXXX hidecallerid=yes host=vbuzzer.com insecure=very nat=yes port=5060 qualify=yes secret=YYYYYY type=friend user=XXXXXX useragent=VBuzzer/1.1.0.9 username=XXXXXX User Context: DID number (the number given to me by Vbuzzer – 416NXXXXXX) User Details allow=ulaw&gsm canreinvite=no context=from-pstn disallow=all dtmfmode=rfc2833 fromdomain=vbuzzer.com fromuser=XXXXXX host=vbuzzer.com insecure=very port=5060 qualify=yes secret=YYYYYY type=friend username=XXXXXX And my Registration String is: XXXXXX:YYYYYY:[EMAIL PROTECTED]/416NXXXXXX Does anyone have any idea why my connection will not go through? Maybe it is something simple I am missing, or maybe its complex, but any help would be appreciated. Cheers!
