In the second edition of the Asterisk book we have devoted a whole chapter
to Adhearsion. It will feature heavily in the cookbook as well.

Jay is planning to port Adhearsion to Freeswitch, which will make it
cross-platform.

We expect Adhearsion to become important to open-source VoIP solution
development, and if you have any affinity for the way Rails does things, it
is worth a look.
