We have done some testing with it. It was alright but sounded almost the
same as g729. We found that most of our customers are more concerned with
bandwidth than CPU cycles so they (we) just stuck with g729.

I seems to be the best of both worlds using 32kbs vs 64kbs and low
computing overhead.
