Attached you will find a perl program I wrote some time ago that
determines peak call volumes between any two dates.

It works with both the Asterisk file based CDR, and CDR stored in a
database.

It also reports the total number of calls, total seconds, total minutes,
and the duration of the longest call on record for the given period.

I run this script nightly just to keep tabs on our usage.
