Hi Jim,
I have 30 sets & T1(PRI)... outbound and inbound call recording on Dell
2850 Server. We temporarily store recordings on the server and pull it
out every night using a script and host it on another server for
reporting purposes.
If you have the money... fibre channel is good as disk activity
(read/write) will be the bottleneck during call recording... but it
maybe overkill for your deployment if you only have one T1(pri)...

Folks,
Any thoughts on the sanest way to record all calls in a system with a single
T1(PRI) and about 50 sets?
It's probably possible to handle this on a single server, but I can't help
but think that storing the media on another machine is at least worth a
look.
Does something like fibre channel make sense (even if it's overkill)?
Thanks for any thoughts.
Jim
