Double-sigh. I gather there must be a reasonable way to take two

The whole bridge thing was originally proposed as a patch for 1.2, but it
took forever (almost) to get approved and massaged, which is why it's only
in trunk.

If you scrape through the Digium bug tracker, you might find a patch that
would apply to your version of 1.2. Might. And might end up owning a very
broken * installation.
Yeah, not an option for this client, they want stable and reliable :) .

You must be running something significantly below 1.2.21; the bugfix appears
in the changelog just before "Asterisk 1.2.14 released", which was on Dec
15th last year.

Any particular reason you can't go up to 1.2.14 or higher? It's hardly as
dangerous as running the latest and greatest 1.4.x.
Actually, I'm running 1.2.21.1 on the devel machine, it seems like I'm looking at either a new bug or a regression or some problem between the chair and the keyboard. I got to the point of patching the source and went "hmm, that's already there". Going to play with it for another half hour or so tonight and see if I can find the problem.

Have fun,
Mike
