IF your running a tftp server on your network you can setup all the information
such as volume and ringers in the polycom configuration files so on a power
outage you will get back your settings.

Subject: [on-asterisk] Polycom 501 default volume after power cycle

Anyone?

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to change and set as default the
ring volume and handset volume after a power cycle.

Everytime there is a power outage or I unplug the phone from power, the
volume defaults to low, I realize this is by design, is there any way to
modify this setting somewhere so it is held in the systems rom...

Thanks,
Elliott
