I don't know if it has changed since Sokol Associates has been bought by Digium. The one I attended was good for beginners, but there were less advanced topics. I guess my understanding of a developer boot camp was different.
Also promised was that the course material was going to include 1.4 features and it wasn't included till I sent a complaint email to Steven Sokol. Then a 30 minute presentation is added, and that was it. To add to it there were troubles with hardware if I recall correctly. The most valuable part for me was meeting with Leif Madsen and Jim Van Meggelen and of course networking with different people in the field.
