In order to not use the new web interface, just don't install it. There is no prerequisite that it be installed. > and I would also like to create some fail over between two servers. You can do this with DUNDi, and the latest bootcamps should be starting to integrate the lab I wrote. > We picked up so many because I wasn't sure what the load/ verse performance > was going to be after our full deployment was finished. I'd encourage *anyone* doing a deployment to stress-test their dialplan with it. This is how I came to the conclusion that func_odbc doesn't add significant overhead or system slowdown, and that GoSub() really is a miracle application :) > So, I would like to cluster the other servers I have racked and off, and > create some hardcore failover.... However, clustering is a quite a large topic, and would probably take at least a days worth of material alone. When we created the bootcamp, there weren't very many professionals with the kind of practical experience you had, thus it made no sense business wise to create an advanced training program -- all the professionals knew each other. But with Asterisk being a much more mature product, and with more and more professionals looking for a training with the more advanced topics, I think the time has come to develop the kind of program you are probably looking for. For someone who has been tasked with installing and/or maintaining an Asterisk system and doesn't have the spare cycles to spend a month or more "playing" with Asterisk, then my opinion still stands that it is an excellent primer and a huge jumpstart option that I wasn't privileged of having when I started. -- Leif Madsen. http://www.leifmadsen.com http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/asterisk --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
