There is many ways you can set this up, most people would use asterisk
as a media server for
voicemail and autoattendants with ser. This is in fact how lots of
carriers use ser (and almost all major carriers do use ser with this
setup in some capacity, except they don't use asterisk as their media
server)


1 pri ---> asterisk ---> ser -->phones  (isn't a nice solution but
won't hurt your business)
level3 --> ser --> A bunch of asterisk media servers (is a nice
solution that will help your business)
