I tried a bit of it back earlier this year, usually a single line. Most of the connections were North York based with poor results on G711, IAX PC based client. Lower throughput codecs were marginally better. Surprisingly, Burlington based connections tended to be better (higher throughput on the network?), ie, first call typically acceptable, second degrading but still no where near DSL connections through it was rare to have 2 calls in progress as it was my primary support. In all cases, there was also a WiFi connection from the PC to the network which may have been a contributing factor.
In all cases, they were on the Bell Internet Anywhere solution. In all cases, the network was also running low bandwidth streaming video for advertising with no qos. Bottom line...wasn't impressed but had enough other factors that may have contributed to the poor quality of service. That said, it was still far cheaper than cellular and comparible quality that I often find in some areas I'm in so it was acceptable for the needs at the time.
