I'm using Linksys/Cisco/Sipura 3102 for my 1U asterisk server. I have
no pci slots, so this is my only route. The balance of my circuits are
IAX2 trunks. I suppose the other reason I have this ATA is the perverse
idea of running asterisk inside a zone on my SUN Sparc machine.....
Anyway, the 3102 has 1 FXS and 1 FXO. They are mediocre quality, but
will do the job. They talk SIP.
I've used mine for about 1.5 years without issues.

Good afternoon. I guess I'm looking for some community suggestions on what
hardware I should use if I've got 2 analog lines that I need to hook into my
Asterisk PBX. They aren't used under normal circumstances, the pilot
numbers from my PRI are redirected to them when my PRI goes down. So they
really are just for emergency purposes. I'm running a Sangoma A101DE, so I
could either go with another PCIe Sangoma card (A200E/A200DE), or possibly
some other manufacturers card, or is there some external box I could use to
convert the circuits to SIP or IAX? In the server, I don't have PCI at my
disposal, just PCI Express. Also, I'm not adverse to any suggestions that
have me buying 4 ports instead of the 2 I need (if the price & solution is
the right one).
Thanks in advance for your replies.
