I have a remote 3102 in a different continent. Not sure how to tackle the pstn side of getting this device to work correctly with asterisk.
The main issue here is, the 3102 is on a DSL connection with dynamic ip address, there is no DDNS support on the 3102. I have the phone port of the 3102 configured as an asterisk sip extension which successfully registers with asterisk and works. The issue I am having is, in the asterisk configuration (under Freepbx) I need to enter the 3102 ip address... I know I can do a sip show peer "exten no" of the 3102 to give me the ip address with other details, is there some way to extract the ip address from this dump and use it properly to register the pstn side of the 3102 with asterisk? Is there a better way to tackle this? The linksys 3102 is similar to the sipura 3000...
