Topic: Asterisk Redundancy Using Heartbeat
In order to provide a carrier class VoIP service for your clients, your infrastructure must be redundant so that services remain available in the event of hardware failures. TONIGHT, Bill Sandiford from Telnet Communications gives a simple presentation on how to use the Heartbeat application from the Linux-HA project ( http://www.linux-ha.org/ ) to create a redundant Asterisk configuration across multiple servers.
