[on-asterisk] Setting the current date as a variable

Hey guys,

I know this may be an easy question but ive read many books on Asterisk and
I just cannot seem to find how i can capture the current date and use it as
a variable. I know how to use GotoIfTime (which decided what to do
determined by the current time) but I dont know how to get the current time
and use it in a variable. Thanks for the help.
