What mechanism is used to pass the busy signal back to the
phone? Is it an audio signal, is it SIP signaling?
Anyone have any suggestions in resolving this?
You might try handling the ${DIALSTATUS} variable in your 'h' exten.
Playtones(busy) whenever $[${DIALSTATUS} = BUSY]
I could try that however this is a FreePBX based system so it makes it
slightly more complicated to implement. I would think that the basics of
passing a busy signal back were there already and one wouldn't have to
actually play a buy tone.
