Hi All,

I am looking for someone with maybe some Avaya experience.

Here is my situation. I have an Avaya One-X Quick Edition Phone System.
This is a Internal SIP solution much like the cisco/linksys. IT uses G729
to communicate and has a FXO gateway.

I have been able to get it to communicate with my Asterisk Box and make a
Sip call to a softphone.

Here is the problem, I need to get it to make PSTN calls. I have a Sangoma
A200D in the Asterisk Box. I can get the softphone to make the call, but it
doesn't strip the prefix number. The avaya phone does strip the number
because it behaves like a PBX.

I can't get the softphone to ring the Avaya system either.

The Avaya supports both service provider and sip proxy configurations with
registration options. I just can't seem to figure out how to configure the
asterisk box to behave like a sip provider. All of this communication is
local by the way.

So, any help would be great.

I can convert the phones to straight H.323 if you think that would be a
better option..

Thanks for the help.
