Does this work on 2.6.18-53.1.14.el5xen? No one in #centos on irc.freenode.org was able to give me an answer as to what that command does. Is there a file in /proc or something to check to see what the kernel timer is running at? Apparently the new kernel for Centos 5.1 is set to 1000hz but the Xen Centos kernel is still set to 250hz. I also still don't know if this is actually a 'good' idea with regards to the talk on the centos bug tracker and SMP systems.
