I borrowed a wimax router for our hacking session tomorrow, but it's giving me some grief.
The device has no helpful markings of any kind, and has 5 LED's across the top that are supposed to indicate signal strength. However, what I'm getting now is one of the middle lights illuminating (the pattern is: off, off, off, on, off, looking from the rogers side). The LAN port shows a green link light, but other than that this device offers no way to troubleshoot it, and doesn't have enough markings on it for me to google for anything. I've tried using it in midtown Toronto, and North York, so geographic location doesn't appear to be a factor. Has anyone run across this un-googleable behaviour before?
