That's the script I just got to a alpha/beta stage. It reads your phone's mac.cfg file as well as aastra.cfg in the tftp folder (can be adjusted via variable in the global settings section). Specifically, if you have the Aastra visual voicemail script (vmail.php) installed and configured on any sets and use it on at least 2 lines, it will provide the indicator led on the key where messages exist. It simply queries the files for existence of vmail.php and then adds it parameters to the line and changes it to vmailled.php then reissues the commands. first note...can't get a envelope icon at the line indicator...don't know if the aastra supports this..still working on it. Second...triggers...today, I have the polling (Aastra firmware 2.2 - ie, 5xi series only) set for 30 sec and call this script every 30 sec as a result. Works fine if only a few phones on the system...can't figure a way to filter sip notify mwi which would be ideal since that also controls the mwi on the main set...load could be issue if lots of phones... Last comment...had it crash a set once...don't know if this script or something else going on...love your feedback or suggestions, comments, etc. D.
