I created these two apps for my own benefit a little while ago and created these packages so others could take advantage of it. These two applications allow click to dial functionality from your Firefox browser and Thunderbird email client. You can find the packages at http://www.netdirect.ca/software/
I grew tired of misdialing my phone and when I was updating our corporate wiki with contact information I thought I would create a wiki filter that would automatically create links out of phone numbers that would link to a small web app that would dial. After achieving that I thought it would be nice to have that functionality on other web sites. So I created a XUL application that did a far better job than my wiki filter. To call a number, either in Firefox or Thunderbird, select the phone number and right click on it. Choose the "Dial" option on the pop-up menu and your phone will ring. Use it at you own risk and enjoy. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
