There are not many things that * can't do but there are two features that are not readily available that I would like to see and that are available to almost all KSUs and PBX systems.
External Paging and MOH (using the internal sound card.) Just to make things interesting the Paging output should be able to mute external background music while paging through an external amp.(like a supermarket) Accessed by a paging code (*xx) preceded with a chime. This would add a really professional feature to *. The MOH needs to be able to take an input from an FM radio or CD player to replace the resource hungry .WAV or .MP3 files Is any one out there interested in developing this as a TAUG project to put back into the community ?
