Sorry Chuck, you don't have to have proxy settings in ie or firefox if
they have setup a transparent proxy on their end.

A simple way you can usually find this out is by looking at a web server
logs of a server you control and seeing if the requests to a website
your making are coming from your ip or another ip (usually the
tranparents proxy ip).
