I've (finally) started the outline of the Asterisk Cookbook, and I'm
looking for some interesting ideas for recipes that can be included.

I want to do things that are everyday kinds of things that are useful
for both people new to Asterisk, and would like to throw in some more
complex recipes for people in the intermediate to advanced range.

I know one of the ideas Jim van Meggelen had previously was a
voicemail alternative that lived entirely in dialplan. I might revisit
that now that 1.6 is into release candidate mode as there will be a
lot of features useful in making that a reality.

Some of the problem I think I'm having is coming up with things that
appear to be *too* simple to me, but are in actual fact quite useful
for people new to Asterisk. I'd like to be able to use it as a
reference to FAQ's.

Ideas?
