--- Synopsis: This Wednesday, we welcome back one of the founders of TAUG, Shidan Gouran, to share with us his experiences working with Asterisk to create a small business appliance. Shidan will guide us through what he set out to do when co-founding Jazinga Inc. Why he chose to create an embedded Asterisk appliance and what challenges had to be overcome to be successful. Shidan will show us what can be accomplished on an embedded appliance to simplify the installation and management of telephony and unified communications solutions. He will demonstrate advanced technologies that provision phones automatically just by plugging them into the network. He will also show how Jazinga has created a platform that implements advanced user interfaces to simplify some of the most complex installation issues VARs and users face today yet provide a flexible platform for extensibility.
