As far as I am concerned installing anything but hardware echo canceler (HWEC)
enabled cars is a bad idea.
Even on PRI, I have seen very bad echo problem that the asterisk soft echo could
not handle and as soon as you put in a Sangoma card with HWEC, all echo is just
gone.
The support team as well as engineering (thanks Nenad) at Sangoma is one of the
best I had to work with.
