The Fring SIP client for iPhone only works on WiFi, not 3G, and not well at that (poor quality audio) so not much of a loss at this time.

The keyboard is a bit annoying, the fact that the autocorrect cannot be programmed is a big nuisance unless someone knows how that can be adjusted. I am using push email with exchange server and it works flawless, but If you have multiple folders in your outlook, don't expect the iphone to keep all those folders synchronized automatically, it will only keep the Inbox sync'ed.....never tried pop/imap so cannot comment on those features. There are plenty of features missing which are sort of taken for granted on a windows mobile or Blackberry device, cut and paste something so basic is not there and interestingly Apple doesn't seem to want to release that feature, perhaps there is some reason for that, but I fail to understand what that reasoning could be..... The iphone 3g is a good multimedia phone, although I could care less about those features, it's a bit lacking on the enterprise side and very well featured on the consumer side. Battery life sucks, I always keep mine in Non-3G mode and switch to 3G only if I need the speed...if 3G is left ON, then I have to charge everynite, I know that reduces the life of the battery irrespective of the fact if its NiMH or lithium or whatever.....I wonder what happens if the battery is shot the second year, would apple or rogers fix the issue past the 1 year warranty period????
