Hello Francis,
Posting a new thread here to separate this from the problem Andrea is
encountering.
With the new HOOKSTATE feature embedded in Dahdi driver the cards should be
able to tell
nano /usr/src/asterisk-1.4.22-rc5/channels/chan_dahdi.c
Search for HOOKSTATE and you will see the following:
#ifdef DAHDI_CHECK_HOOKSTATE
return 1;
#else
return 1;
You might see return 0 and you should change it to return 1. This will disable
the "HOOKSTATE" feature. The issue has been tested with Digium card too and
issues remains the same; hence, it's a Zaptel/Asterisk issue.
Credits for above should go to Marc, Sangoma Tech, who has been helpful to get
my system working.
