I had a friend using my * box ask about call traceability, as he wants his
calls to be as anonymous as possible and not traceable back to him.

Immediately this set off bells in my head, but I really had no idea as to how
to answer that question.

If I make a call from my server to a local voip provider (voicenetwork /
link2voip, etc...) how much data can actually:
a) come back to my server
b) go to the originating IP (my friends house)

Do (most / standard practise) companies send off call origination IP data to
the end terminating point, or where is the information kept?

I have googled for quite a while and haven't been able to produce results that
are anywhere near pseudo solid.

Thanks for any pointers / call flows
Jason
