Hi all,
Hope everyone is having a great holiday.
I'm musing about a situation.
We want to ring several extensions simultaneously. We can use Dial() or
FollowMe(), no problem.
Problem is, we want distinctive rings on all the phones, i.e. the same
distinctive ring on all the phones at the same time, but not all sip
phones/ATA's respond the same way to the same Bellcore-drx header. So if we do:
exten => _*x.,1,SIPAddHeader(Alert-Info: info=<Bellcore-dr3>)
exten => _*x.,n,Dial(SIP/1000&SIP/1200&SIP/3000,60,tT)
for example, only the first phone (i.e. SIP/1000 in the above example)
seems to respond to the Bellcore information.
Question: Is there a way, without re-writing the Dial() application, to
provide Bellcore-drx to each phone so that they all ring simultaneously with
the same ring cadence? Each extension/phoneset is different, not all respond to
the same Bellcore-dr? in the same way.
We ar eusing asterisk v1.4.23. if not possible with this version of
asterisk, does the 1.6.x release or other software, Yate, freeswitch, wahtever
address this problem?
I thought if it's possible, you guys would know...
Thanks in advance,
