I got TAUG into the skype4asterisk beta program -- so we have a license
for the taug demo server now that allows up to 10 concurrent calls;
exciting! What it allows you to do is call in/out to skype users and the
rest of the skype services. You can also get the online status of people
on your buddy list, and fun stuff like that.
I whipped together a quick demo -- If you'd like to test it out, add
'taug.demo' to your skype buddy list, wait 5 minutes, and then call
416-548-7557 from any phone. This will drop you in to dial-by-name, where
you will be able to dial your skype username, and any other skype
username who's a friend of taug.demo who is set to "Online".
I'll leave it running for the day, we'll see how it goes ;-)
