Never had the experience but would like to know if the following would work best for Lloyd's environment:
Asterisk Server <--- Public Internet ---> Embeded SER/OpenSER/Kamilio --> 48 port switch ---> 35 Aastra Cons (if I understand OpenSer correctly): - OpenSer would be on premises where Aastra phones are located. Embeded Open Ser server can also act as firewall, DHCP router, etc... - Easy and cheap to have another OpenSer embeded box on the side for redundancy purpose.
