Have many of you given up your desk phone for a soft phone or cell/WiFi phone, or run into many deployments (other than call centres) where they have switched?
Is it the reliability and usability of those 12 buttons? Is it because hard phones have been on our desks so long that it feels wrong without them? I almost want something like this with a charging cradle: http://www.thinkgeek.com/gadgets/cellphone/8928/ and a charging cradle. Maybe something like these, but with SIP support: http://www.kumaar.com/Gizmos/bt_100.htm http://www.smithgear.com/bluetooth-landline.html -- | It ain't what you don't know that gets you into trouble.
