I use Suse on all servers including one with Asterisk. The main reasons are: - YaST - very easy to use system config tool. - SuseFirewall - an easy readable config file for iptables. - cool green lizard - ;-)
There is a package repo to install asterisk and dahdi: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/vitsoft:/asterisk-dahdi/ I used Suse on laptop since version 8.2 up until 11.1 but now Ubuntu is having a test run and so far wining ;-) Igor On Tue, 2009-08-25 at 14:09 -0400, Jim Van Meggelen wrote: > I have to put a plug in for Suse, since that seems to be pretty popular > on the other side of the pond. > > Jim > --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: asterisk-unsubscr...@uc.org For additional commands, e-mail: asterisk-h...@uc.org
