Please note that 1.6.1.x and 1.6.2.x are considered major releases
(similar to the difference between 1.4.x and 1.6.0.x).

Bug fixes that apply to multiple branches are applied to all 1.6.x and
1.4 branches, thus a change that affects all branches will be merged
to all branches; there should be not need to move to 1.6.2.x from
1.6.1.x simply for a bug fix.

1.6.1.6 was released, followed by 1.6.1.8 and 1.6.1.9 which were both
security releases based on 1.6.1.6, which means no bug fixes are
contained in those two releases; only the security release is
contained (which is done on purpose so as to avoid adding regressions
in security releases).

Today saw the release of 1.6.1.10-rc2 which is the first set of
release candidates which contain bug fixes since 1.6.1.6 was released.

I would encourage you to install 1.6.1.10-rc2 into your
development/test environment in order to determine if your issue has
been resolved.

Thanks!
