Ok, I have an office equipped with Dell Vostro 220 which have onboard Realtek Gigabit NIC.
Tested ZoiperFree, ZoiperBIZ and Xlite and altough Xlite is a bit better (which usually is not the case), I have real water sounding voice and a lot of cuts. I know Realtek are not the best brand but still... PC are running XP Pro with all the latest updates. On the same network my Mac with ZoiperFree, A windows laptop also with ZoiperFree and SNOM desk phones perform perfectly without any quality issue... Tested the Vostro PC directly on the internet (no firewall and switch) and they exibit the same problem. Tested connecting to an other hosted PBX and same problem. Tested from home from my Mac and from my wife XP machine, no problem.
