On a related note; we had a 57iCT that had a dead battery for many
months. When we finally got a replacement it would not pair to the
phone.

Aastra tech support told us that if the cordless is dead for an extended
time it will _never_ work again. And if it's off warranty (it is), too
bad so sad...

Can you believe that?

Just wondering if anyone has experienced the same thing and found a
solution?

The only thing I thought of was a firmware miss-match since the phone
has been upgraded several times since the cordless died. I thought about
trying to downgrade the firmware to see if it will pair again but
haven't got around to it yet.

So bottom line; we do not sell the "CT" phones anymore. Way to many
battery and support issues.

The rest of the Aastra phones are great though.
