Dear TAUG Members:*

Please excuse this extreme short notice for a TAUG meeting announcement.
Our friend and facilitator, Simon Ditner (founder of TAUG) has conveyed to
me that he has immediate business obligations and is unable to coordinate
the monthly TAUG meeting at this current time. I've offered to facilitate
and coordinate the meeting, along side my monthly business referral
networking meetings at the same premises.

*Our guest speaker is Ravin, President and Founder of MoFiNetworks.* He has
generously offered to give away 10 routers in a free raffle - a total value
of over $1,000 CDN to the attendees of the meeting. Combined with the TAUG
attendees, the meeting will be dynamic as you will get the chance to
socialize and meet with entrepreneurs and business owners, in a very casual
and informal settings. A separate room will be available for TAUG members
who wish to exclusively speak with Ravin and discuss the technical aspects
of the router.

*MofiNetworks is the producer of 3G Internet Routers* that has an USB port
to connect your USB Internet Modem (aka Internet Stick, Rocket, etc). This
is the **only** router in Canada that has support for ALL Canadian carriers
offering 3G / 3.5G wireless internet (via USB internet stick).

*3G Router Loaner Program: *We will also have 20 loaner units exclusively
for the TAUG folks who has shown an interest with this router (those of you
who requested an unit reserved, you will get the first preference). Please
ensure that you have **valid** ID with you as MofiNetwork needs to know
where the loaner units are going to. Without valid ID, you will need to put
a deposit of $99 per loaner unit.

*For the curious who demands technical specs, *the router runs on embedded
Linux, has 4 LAN Ports, 1 Wan, 1 USB (for 3G Internet USB Dongle) and is of
course WiFi as well. It has 2x 16 MB DRAM, and 4MB ROM.

Organizing and facilitating events in itself is a full time job and I will
be working closely with Simon to help ease the burden. For those of you who
do not know me, I've worked closely with international events organizers,
representing TAUG at major conference and trade shows both in Toronto and
International venues. I had been an active poster and contributor to TAUG
since almost its conception, but have not participated frequently in online
contribution since the last 2 years - as my efforts in training and
evangelizing Asterisk technology has been focused at live events.
*
Kind regards,
Reza.*
