Everyone, Just FYI, in the last week or so, our hourly auditing process has detected an average of 3-5 hacked Asterisk servers per day from our customers.
So I would recommend everyone to verify your security on your Asterisk servers to prevent unwanted charges to your phone bill. The hacking activities usually happens after normal business hours while you're away. If you do not make international calls, just block 011+ dialling in your dial plan to minimize your risk to fraudulent calls to international destinations. A lot of hackers are making fraudulent calls to international high cost areas.
