I have a few Polycom 330/331 phones that are working well with FreePBX and
using Endpoint manager provisioning.

A few users have indicated that they are "missing calls" while they are on the
phone.

To clarify, they had the phone setup with a different system previously (no
longer at that office). My understanding was that when they used to be on the
phone, they would get some sort of audible alert and that the incoming callerID
would display on the phone so they knew if they should take the call or not.

The current system is setup to display two lines... I'm not sure if the audible
tone is loud enough (someone said they didn't get the tone, others say they do
but it is low)... more importantly, because both lines are displayed (the old
system only displayed one line), the incoming call does not display on the
screen, so they don't know if they should pick up or not.

Of course, you can hold the arrow key, which will display the incoming call
info on line two... but that would be too much work. What they want, is just
the call to display...

Any suggestions... I really don't want to mess with a functional system if I
can avoid it.

Regards,

Chuck Mariotti
