I'm trying to register an Asterisk 1.8 box to a provider that requires the use of SRV lookups. I have srvlookup=yes, and have a register statement to the provider's hostname as well as a peer entry with their hostname as host= and fromdomain=.
Asterisk sends the REGISTER to the IP based on the DNS SRV lookup (which is successful), but upon calling sends the INVITE to the IP based on a DNS A lookup (which fails). Has anyone seen such behaviour? Am I missing something? -- Nabeel Jafferali X2 Networks Inc.
